Chicago Shines as Host of Democratic National Convenation Committee for 2024

Resolute was proud to play a role in the historic 2024 Democratic National Convention, having been engaged to assist the Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) in its coordination and execution for a successful event, which was the first in-person convention since 2016.

Resolute assisted the DNCC by bringing its best-in-class expertise in strategic communications, project management and event planning to the forefront of the world capital of politics.

It was a successful week as Chicago once again took center stage with the eyes of the world upon it, and it did not disappoint – the Chicago Tribune‘s Editorial Board said Chicago had “one of the best weeks in its history” with the Chicago Sun-Times adding the “convention was truly a success Chicago can be proud of.”

The 2024 drew a mammoth TV audience, reaching nearly 90 million viewers over the course of the week, with the final night of the convention seeing an estimated 26.2 million tune in to witness Vice President Kamala Harris’ acceptance speech. Online viewership was even larger, with nearly 60 million viewers tuning in on the first day alone, including broadcast, streaming and digital content – providing access to more Americans than ever before to witness this historic convention hosted by the most “American of American Cities.”
